Rod Boaz Founder Rod Boaz, founder of Preps Radio is a former business development manager at Mitsubishi International Corporation and current owner of Elastic Media Corporation. For Mitsubishi, working under the direction of the Silicon Valley and LA Branch offices, Boaz oversaw a variety of media related businesses including motion picture, video game and merchandise rights licensing.  Boaz was the key local liaison on behalf of Memory Tech & d-rights, Inc., both subsidiaries of Mitsubishi Corporation focused on content and packaged media (CD/DVD related businesses). Boaz applied his creative and marketing expertise to introduce and gain distribution for several animation and interactive titles from Japan including Sonic The Hedgehog, X, Sakura Wars and the billion dollar hit Beyblade. For Elastic Media, Boaz is the owner operator of a audio services studio whose main business is to provide English dubs, sfx, music and sound design for major toy company clients including Hasbro, Bandai and Playmates Toys to name a few. A graduate of California State University at Fullerton, Boaz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies – International Business and a Minor in Pacific Rim Studies.  Boaz also is a student at National University where he anticipates completion of a high school teaching credential in the winter of 2010. In his spare time, Boaz operates this internet broadcasting business, where he enjoys broadcasting high school and youth sports (particularly baseball). He also volunteers his time on the Board of Directors for Placentia PONY Baseball and on the citizens Bond oversight committee for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
